This Is Not a Government Office. This is a private reference resource. We cannot retrieve criminal records, conduct official checks, correct or remove an entry, or receive an expungement filing. The responsible government custodian must handle those services.
Need an Official Record?
Direct an Iron County request according to the record involved:
- Arrest, booking, and jail files: Iron County Sheriff’s Office, 2132 N Main Street, Cedar City, UT 84721; office 435-867-7500; jail 435-867-7555. Call before visiting because official county listings differ on the jail address and published counter hours were not located.
- Court case files: use criminal court cases or contact Fifth District Court, 40 N 100 E, Cedar City, UT 84720, 435-867-3250, for felonies and class A misdemeanors.
- Lower-level county cases: contact Iron County Justice Court, 82 N 100 E, Suite 101, Cedar City, UT 84720, 435-865-5335, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Police and incident reports: ask the police or state agency that created the report. Cedar City Police Records is at 2130 N Main Street, 435-586-2956, weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Personal Utah criminal history: use the Utah Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Identification Right of Access process, 4315 S 2700 W, Suite 1300, Taylorsville, UT 84129, 801-965-4445, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Expungement: follow Utah BCI eligibility steps, then file with the court that entered the case.
The Sheriff keeps its own reports and booking material, while each court clerk keeps the filed case. The administrative Iron County Courthouse in Parowan is not the usual criminal-file counter for Cedar City matters.
